Penta Compact Telescoping Pentagonal Shaped Hot Stick - 8' PPOLC5/08H-PTA

The unique curved pentagonal shape fits comfortably in hand while remaining close to the cylindrical shape commonly used. This shape is used to transmit torque force during any operation requiring an action of tightening or loosening. Complies with ASTM F1826 / IEC 61235 standards. The terminal tube is a round tube built on a rigid, waterproof polyurethane foam. The circular terminal tube’s shape meets all requirements of the ASTM F711 / CEI60855-1 standards. The locking elements are self-searching when stick is deployed by sturdy bi-material button.
Pultruding over the foam core ensures better adhesion to the inside walls of the stick and there are no voids between the fiberglass and foam core. The pentagonal shape of the base sections keeps sections in alignment with one another without rotation, ensuring that the spring-loaded locking system will always find its place while extending. With its new and improved design, the Pentapole has a 15% higher mechanical strength, and is 13% lighter than previous generation product.
