The VariStripTM Series US21-7200 featuring Ripley's patent-pending VariStrip technology is the first ever kit to safely and cleanly strip any copper or aluminum conductor THHN / XHHWtype wires from #2 AWG to 400 MCM AWG using just 5 variable bushings. Larger bushings up to 750 MCM AWG are also available for custom kits.
Traditional bushings must be precisely sized to each wire to be effective, while each VariStrip bushing is designed to strip a variety of jacket thicknesses over a range of wire gauges. A comparable kit needs 20 or more bushings to match the capacity of these 5. Ripley's VariStrip kits work with any drill driver to save time and money compared to competitive products.
