Lubricate energized switchgear and equipment with this remote application kit. Choose the synthetic grease or penetrating oil and easily target hard to access areas from a safe distance.
This kit delivers standard 68 caliber capsule balls:
Red balls – deliver a synthetic grease that contains synthetic oils, organic thickener, corrosion inhibitors, and solid lubricants and contains no solvents. It is classified as a CARB (California Air Resources Board) friendly product. It is designed to protect components from the environment and offers very good water washout protection. This material will not become gummy, sticky, dry out, separate or bleed oil over time. Its synthetic formulation is active from -80 to 400 deg. F. This product yields over 210 hours in ASTM B-117 (Salt Fog Humidity Chamber) testing.
Yellow balls – deliver a penetrant formula that contains synthetic oil, organic thickeners, wetting agents, extreme pressure additives and corrosion inhibitors. It is designed to migrate between mating metals parts and loosen friction points. This assures penetration into moving mechanisms to assure excellent performance of these mechanisms. This penetrating property allows dried out, corroded surfaces to function like new after our penetrant has been applied. The penetration of this material into the mechanisms will begin immediately upon application. For better results, allow the penetrant to work into the mechanism for 2-5 minutes before operating it.
