Designed for crimping large cables and constructed of Titanium, the Huskie EP-60DT weighs only 34 lbs. making it the lightest 60 ton compression tool on the market.
The Huskie EP-60DT accepts Huskie HA60 and Alcoa 6000 Series crimping dies for lugs up to 2000 MCM and splices up to 2500 MCM copper or aluminum.
Double acting - This EP-60DT uses hydraulic pressure to advance the ram to the proper tonnage, then reverses the hydraulics to retract the ram after the crimp is complete. This double acting feature helps prevent the dies from jamming and retracts the ram faster than most single acting presses.
The Huskie EP-60DT requires a double acting hydraulic pressure of 10,000 psi.
