A better cold shrink terminator. The Raychem CST termination kit for 25kV cable is easier to install and this means greater reliability with fewer errors in the field. The Raychem design features a bell shaped bottom for more freedom around the cable when unwinding the core. The smoother pulling core with the reversed direction provides a better alignment when dropping the terminator on to the cable. Constructed of silicone rubber, the terminator body has integrated void-filling mastic that eliminates the need for silicone grease as well as the connector-end mastic. Compliant with IEEE048, CENELEC HD 629.1.S2 Kit includes: termination body, compression stem connector (12”), mastic strip for concentric neutral, and instructions with cut-back template.
