Tailgate flags are ideal for pole transport. Tailgate flags help mark poles and other objects that extend beyond the bed of your truck or trailer. These flags are made from heavy vinyl mesh to better withstand the high winds associated with highway transport.
A sewn in wire spreader hold the flag shape while traveling. The wire spreader is notched to easily nail to a pole end.
DOT part 393.87 requires commercial vehicles transporting a load which extends beyond 4 feet to be marked with a warning flag that is at least 18” square.
