Pole Jack System provides a safe and easy way to assemble the slip joints of steel poles. In the field setup is quick and easy. Brackets are designed to bolt to T&B-Meyer pole standard nut spacing. Operates on utility truck hydraulic tool circuit. (Reverse flow circuit is required.) Also works for dis-assembly of steel poles. Available with optional reverse flow control. Maximum operating hydraulic pressure is 3000PSI.
Jack system includes: (2) hydraulic cylinders, (4) pole brackets, (2) connecting shafts, (2) hydraulic hoses, (1) hardware kit. (Optional reverse flow control is ordered separately.)
How it works. Pole brackets are bolted to the pole sections with supplied hardware using the pole manufacturer’s installed nuts. (Designed for T&B-Meyer standard nut spacing.) The connecting shaft is connected to the hydraulic cylinder on one end, and pinned to the bracket on the other end. The pole sections are pulled together as hydraulic pressure is applied. The connecting shaft is repositioned after each pull and the process is repeated until the pole sections are fully seated.
