The Ripley AJS professional-grade ratcheting slitter is designed for both longitudinal or circumferential (ringing) cuts for either mid-span or end cable preparation.

Mid-span window access cut in HDPE conduit ranging from 1 1/2 in (38 mm) diameter to larger sizes.
Circumferential slitting of cable/duct ranging from 1 1/2 in. (38 mm) diameter to larger sizes.
Longitudinal slitting of cable/duct ranging from 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) diameter to larger sizes.
Slits aluminum and copper (smooth and corrugated construction) coverings.
Ideal for slitting cable coverings ranging from soft insulated jackets to high density polyethylene (HDPE) conduits.
High grade tool steel blade designed to accommodate slitting irregular cable diameters and thicknesses while protecting underlying conductors.
Adjustable blade knob with audible "click" sound indexes in 1/4 turn intervals (each index adjusts the depth .013 in. (0.32 mm).
Tool allows precision slitting of jackets/covering thicknesses of up to 1/2 in. (6.3 mm).
